Once the idea took hold, it consumed me. The culmination of all of my technical professional developement and creative instincts and tying it back to the connection to my relationship with my dad...

we came from watchmaking.

It's that we didn't.

We were not injected with any design, manufacturing, or process bias. We approached the watch simply as designers and engineers. That objectivity — building solely from an engineering mindset and design instinct — is exactly what the era of additive watchmaking requires.

The Founders

The four were shaped by careers at the frontier of advanced technologies and design, including work connected to some of the most demanding systems ever built. That environment established a heightened standard for precision, structural logic, and performance, which now guides Parivas within the world of horology.

Mickey Brown
Co-Founder & CEO

Brown comes from an aerospace engineering background and led Parivas from concept through six years of development to production. The Exo.1 is the physical expression of Mickey’s design philosophy.

Woods shapes how Parivas is seen, felt, and understood — from brand identity and product storytelling to the digital experience and launch communications. Every public-facing expression of Parivas passes through his creative direction.

Chang is Parivas’s operations and process lead, overseeing the manufacturing stages, production infrastructure, and internal standards that make being an independent horological house possible.

Cohen has a core background in accounting and business strategy and has spent his professional career as a contracts manager in the defense world.
